🌸 A little bit of my story… and why this matters so much to me. 🌸 For many years, I was a single mum doing everything I could for my children. There were times when life felt incredibly hard. I struggled silently. I often felt alone, judged and misunderstood, while inside I was simply trying to cope and keep everything together. I have also been on my own journey of recovery, and there were times when I didn't cope in the way I wanted to. But one thing I never did was give up. I kept going. I kept coming back. I kept choosing recovery, choosing my children and, eventually, learning to choose myself too. ❤️ Today, my life looks very different. I have my own business, a lovely home, a loving partner and, most importantly, I feel present with my children. I feel happier. I feel more peaceful. And I've learned something that I wish I'd understood much earlier: Looking after yourself isn't selfish. For years, I thought I had to be strong for everyone else. Now I understand that when I take care of myself, I have so much more to give to the people I love. That's why I make self-care a real part of my life. I have regular Reiki and massage treatments. I make time to slow down. I nurture myself. I allow myself to receive. And I know how powerful it can be when someone creates a safe space where you can simply breathe, relax and feel cared for. This is a big part of why I'm evolving Sweet Soul Hub. 🌸 I want to encourage women who may be struggling quietly. Women who feel they've lost themselves. Women who are always looking after everyone else. Women who don't always feel seen. I want to create treatments and experiences that help women feel nurtured, uplifted, connected and good within themselves. Because I've been that woman. And if there is one thing I want another woman to know, it's this: You are not alone. You are not your hardest chapter. And it is never too late to start choosing yourself. 🦋 Sometimes the first step isn't changing your whole life. Sometimes it's simply giving yourself permission to receive a little care. ♥️A little change… but one that means so much to me. For a long time, my page has been called Sweet Soul Beauty, and I have loved every part of my beauty journey. But recently, I've been feeling a deeper calling. I've realised that what I love most isn't simply helping a woman feel beautiful on the outside. It's the connection. The conversations. The hugs. The moments when a woman feels truly seen. The feeling of creating a safe, nurturing space where she can simply be herself. I've experienced feeling lost, unfulfilled and disconnected from myself too. I've been the woman who is brilliant at uplifting everyone else, while sometimes forgetting to uplift herself. And I'm learning that it's never too late to reconnect with yourself, believe in yourself and choose yourself.
